Brokate Janitorial is Music to Construction Company's Ears!

What do large construction projects and symphony orchestras have in common?

The answer is a lot more than people would initially think.

Both groups are formed by combining a wide-variety of individuals, each with their own set of talents, together for a sole purpose of taking a piece from start to finish. Both require careful planning, coordination, timing and precision to make the end result work for its audience. Both are unique art-forms in their own right. While orchestras put together ranging sounds from various string, horn, brass, percussion and woodwind instruments; a construction project brings in electricians, plumbers, builders, architects and of course, commercial cleaners.

While every electrician, plumber, builder and architect is vital in their own right to bring a project to fruition, the commercial cleaners provide a very different value to the project. The commercial cleaner takes no credit for the design or functionality of the project being completed, but is vital to making all of the other contractor's work shine. In using it in the metaphor, other contractors form the various instruments in an orchestra that weave in and out of the piece, while the commercial cleaners serve as the silence that occurs just between that music stopping and the audience erupting in applause.

Using a professional Construction Clean-Up company such as Brokate Janitorial is often underestimated. The Clean-Up company allows both the construction company and its' hired contractors a much smaller "Punch-List" at the end, and by making the building look clean and new, the owners generally release the retainage in a much shorter time. That means the job gets paid fully much faster, making everyone happy.

To the owners, it provides a sense of completion and appreciation for the work that all of the contractors came together to complete. The owner needs to see the clean look and smell of its building to know the project is actually complete.

Brokate Janitorial provides all types of reliable, flexible Construction Clean-Up services from trash and dust removal throughout the projects early stages, to the very deep and detailed cleaning services on an almost finished project. Those services include but are not limited to: VCT Floor Scrubbing and Waxing, Outside and Inside Window Cleaning, Floor-to-Ceiling dust and residue removal, trash removal, cabinet cleaning inside and out and carpet cleaning. From "rough-to-fluff" Brokate Janitorial does it all.

Brokate Janitorial also offers one free service with every construction project it works on, that "new-building" smell. With all Brokate Janitorial can do for a construction project, it should sound like a mighty good option for construction companies!

Costs vs Expenses vs Value

In these difficult economic times, cost and expenses are being looked at even closer than ever by individuals and businesses. How much is being spent on groceries? Insurance? Taxes? The kid down the street that mows the lawn. Those faced with a tight budget(or tightening budgets of their own to prepare for the worst) are constantly looking for ways to cut costs and expenses.

But what is cost, anyways? Most people think in terms of cost as a function of how much is spent from your pocket or checking account to obtain certain items or services. And indeed that is true...for the most part. Their is another side to cost that most people don't naturally think about in their day-to-day lives. This side of cost is the result of not buying a certain product/service or opting for an inferior product. While eliminating frivilous and unnecessary costs is always a prudent measure for improving ones overall bottom line and operating under a more responsible budget, many people can mistakenly go too far and cut "costs" that were indeed necessary and prudent.

When this happens, people and businesses experience an even greater cost later on. For example, if a company chooses to cut its landscaping and yard mowing services from its expenses an indirect result of that could be reduced business and traffic to their location because of the unsightly grass that gives the appearance of a rundown, ill-kept property. For Brokate Janitorial, we see this far too often with companies considering their janitorial and maintenance needs for their facilities. Often times a company will opt for the lowest bid regardless of other factors in hopes to keep costs low. What happens almost as often, however, is that we will get calls from these same companies down the road looking to fix the poor work done by other companies. This is not too suggest, however, that you should always go with the highest price either. You don't always get what you pay for, but the more you research and consider all factors the better your purchasing decision will be.

This past month we received a call from an account we had managed for 4-5 years and always kept happy and looking great. Last year they sent the services out for bid (per their requirements) and went with a lower PRICED (notice I didn't say COST)company. Not even 6 months had passed before they were removed from the building and we were called back in to fix the mess they had left us. The next day we received an email from the head of the building excited to see the instant improvement and look of their facility.

These are just a few small examples of the many ways that people can overlook the overall impact of choosing how to spend their time and money; which for businesses equates to the same thing. How the individuals of a company spend their time is directly related to how much money thier company makes. By focusing on what they do best, and leaving the rest to those more qualified, a company can operate with much greater efficiency and productivity.

If cost is a concern for your company, please contact Brokate Janitorial and we can help you receive the most value for your dollar. By properly maintaining your facility, Brokate Janitorial can extend the life and wear of your building for a MUCH lower cost in the long run.

Mercy Me!

Well-known for it's large number of medical and health options, Springfield opens its doors to another premier facility Mercy Health Plans. While being used for administrative purposes, this new and very impressive facility will further help service those in Southwest Missouri. This two-story building features over 42,000 square feet of office space.

Brokate Janitorial was very eager to get started on this project and turn another dust-filled construction site into a sparkling clean, ribbon-cutting-ready building. On this project, Brokate Janitorial did everything from cleaning all of the windows inside and out, dusting every surface from top-to-bottom, vacuuming carpets and cabinets, scrubbing and waxing all commercial tile floors, removing tape/gum/adhesive/misc residue, polishing elevators/drinking fountains/ faucets and other bright-work, detailed bathroom cleaning, mopping slate floors and more.

"When all the electricians, plumbers, roofers, floor-installation crews all finish-up their work, it's our job to show off just how good of a job each and every worker did in constructing and completing this building." comments Cheyne Brokate, Operations Manager at Brokate Janitorial. "Nothing is worse than the owners entering their finished building and smelling and seeing dust inside. We want it to look and smell Brand-New and Clean so everybody can focus their excitement on what their new facility is going to do for them." Cheyne adds.

"The nice thing about this project was the high-quality materials used throughout the building. From the slate floors and high quality carpet tiles to the stainless steel elevators and modern light fixtures; this building looked great from top-to-bottom. It just makes everything look that much better after we clean and polish everything!" remarks Margie Brokate, Owner.

Another project completed for Brokate Janitorial with plenty of before and after pictures to show-off their work.

Smooth Sailing in Branson, MO

While the economy tries to stay afloat battling turbulent waves of bad economic news and reports, Branson continues full-steam ahead. The city continues its course of economic stability and growth with steady leadership in direction from many of its businesses that have stood the test of time.

One of those businesses leading the way is the Showboat Branson Belle. The Showboat has been a staple of Branson for many years now, providing high quality food and entertainment for all its guests. Situated on one of Branson's most beautiful sites, the Showboat goes on both day and nightly trips on Table Rock Lake allowing its guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the Ozarks.

On top of the natural beauty and scenery that comes free with every ticket, the show also features top-notch dining and entertainment. The 2-hour cruise features a 3 course meal, as well as entertainment from such acts as Todd Oliver and friends, The Showstoppers! and comedy from Christopher James.

Shows run from March through December, with both afternoon and evening shows available. During it's downtime this past year, the Showboat did many renovations to keep the Showboat in tip-top shape and to ensure the guests enjoy the best experience possible. After all the work was done, they called in Brokate Janitorial to come clean-up and get things ready for their inaugural cruise.

"We were very excited about the challenge of working on a facility of that size located on the water. While we encountered a few obstacles from how we would handle a traditional building, we pulled it all together with some teamwork and proper planning and got it spotless from the top on down." said Margie Brokate, Owner of Brokate Janitorial.

Brokate Janitorial considers themselves very fortunate to continue to take on new projects during a time where other areas are cutting back tremendously. "Recession? I'm too busy to participate in that." jokes Jason Brokate, Account Manger.

"While many towns, companies and individuals are having to make the tough choices on where to make cuts, Branson, our customers and all of us at Brokate Janitorial seem to be pushing forward filling up calendar spots and working harder than ever! I feel so lucky to live in such a wonderful area." comments Jeremy Brokate, Office Manager at Brokate Janitorial.

"I am very pleased with how smoothly this project came together and was completed. The bigger the challenge a project is, the more I get excited about it and wrapped up in planning." said Cheyne Brokate, Operations Manager at Brokate Janitorial.

So if you'd are looking to soak in the natural beauty of the Ozarks and Table Rock Lake, enjoy some fine-dining and top quality entertainment head on down the The Showboat Branson Belle.

Branson Grows Hungry for New Dining Options!

Two new wonderful dining options have come to Branson to offer locals and tourists a-like some new variety of menu selections right on the Strip. Both names are well known both in our area and afar, but for very different reasons! Who are these caped-crusaders that have come to our rescue with new spices and flavoring to fill our empty bellies? Well the first one is Penny Gilley's Louisiana Fixin's. The Gilley name is no stranger to Branson, but Penny comes to town from down south and brings with her a delicious array of Louisiana flavor. If your a Po' Boy or Girl looking to eat on a budget, you enjoy a delicious Po' Boy sandwich with Shrimp, Oyster or Chicken for $6.49.

The second name that has expanded into Branson is Jimmy John's. Those who have heard of or eaten at Jimmy John's know it's famous for its Delicious sub sandwiches, using all fresh ingredients all for a VERY LOW price. If you don't like veggies on your sub, they even offer "Slim" sandwiches at reduced prices. This is also a great late night option that even delivers the food right to your door!

Brokate Janitorial was excited to help both of these locations prepare for their Grand Openings by getting them clean and sparkling with floors so clean you could eat off of them! (But we recommend eating at one of the many tables)

Everyone at Brokate Janitorial was eager to help both of these locations open their doors, so that we could be the first in line to get a taste! I hope everyone that dines in Branson gives these two places a try!
C'est Bon!

Hay....This Place Looks GOOD!

Hay.......This Place Looks GOOD!

From one family act to another, Brokate Janitorial tips it's cap to all the Haygoods on their latest milestone they have achieved. Last night, the Haygoods kicked off their debut show at their Brand-New Americana Theater. With fellow acts Tony Roi: The Elvis Experience, Red, Hot& Blue and Cassandre: Voice of an Angel, the Americana is sure to provide round the clock entertainment.

The show was entirely new and featured many spectacular moments that are sure to have people talking about after the show, and to their friends and family back home. While we won't give away any of the details of the show, we will say it featured some of the best elements of Country, Rock, Irish Celtic, Classic and Love songs both old and new.

Brokate Janitorial was pleased to relax and enjoy such a high quality show after several days of hard work helping to get the renovations clean and ready for opening night. Tim Haygood had this to say after we finished up, "A huge thank you to Brokate Janitorial for really pulling through at the last
minute! The New Americana Theatre is a dream come true. THANK YOU."

"Having known and watched the Haygoods progress over the years, it was nice to be a part of their excitement as they prepared for their very first show in a theater they could truly call home." commented Cheyne Brokate, Operations Manager for Brokate Janitorial.

When the dust all settled, and was removed and returned to its natural habitat by Brokate Janitorial, and the debut night came to a conclusion, the audience erupted in applause. Margie Brokate, Owner of Brokate Janitorial had this to say after the show, "I am just blown away at how good their show was this year. Every year it just keeps getting better and better! They are the future of Branson and are going to be so successful!"

Branson's HOTTEST... Floors!

Branson's HOTTEST... Floors!

Anybody who has ever been or heard anything about Branson, will generally use the same word to sum the town up. SHOWS! Branson is famous for having more seats than Broadway, offering a wide-array of shows all over town to appeal to its residents and tourists looking for a night out on the town. Millions of tourists come every year and pack in the theaters, clean out the concession counters and plop down for some high-quality entertainment.

With that kind of demand (and limited road choices) residents and tourists a-like can expect some heavy traffic both in and outside the theaters. This is why Brokate Janitorial takes pride in handling all of the cleaning needs of several of the top theaters in town. Whether its the nightly cleaning and maintaining of the theater, cleaning all the carpeting in and around the theater or performing necessary floor work to keep the floors in tip-top shape, Brokate Janitorial is there to help.

This past week Brokate Janitorial helped Branson's HOTTEST show, at the Pierce Arrow Theater, have the HOTTEST floors. One of the town's most popular and steady draws, Pierce Arrow is known for providing an electric, high-energy show day-in and day-out. Brokate Janitorial is proud to be able to help this loyal customer over the years. By bringing in their own high-energy night after night, Brokate Janitorial allows its clients to focus on what they do best all season long.

Brokate Janitorial headlines Star-Studded Event in Branson, Missouri

Who has enough excitement and interest to draw out some of Hollywood's biggest stars to Branson, MO? On Saturday, January 24th, the likes of Mike Myers, Tom Hanks, Steve Carell, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Will Ferrell, Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne and many more turned out for this one day event! The stars were all there gathered in silence as they watched the main attraction dazzle them with their talent.

So who was this amazing performer that brought all of these talented actors from Hollywood together? Brokate Janitorial of course. OK, perhaps the famous Hollywood elite were only made of wax, but to anybody who has walked through the rooms and halls of The Hollywood Wax Museum, they looked as real as could be.

The Hollywood Wax Museum is world famous for its ability to take into account the smallest of details into creating its works of art. With that mindset, Brokate Janitorial knew it needed to deliver flawless floors worthy of the red carpet treatment Hollywood was accustomed to.

After a long, but rewarding day, Brokate Janitorial finished phase 1 of the 3 part floor work in helping Hollywood Wax Museum with their renovations.

"I think the pictures speak for themselves" said Cheyne Brokate, Operations Manager for Brokate Janitorial, "but we take great pride in our work and were happy with the outcome."

"Not many people can say they helped provide the wax that tourists from around the world come to Branson to see and marvel at." Jeremy Brokate, Office Manager of Brokate Janitorial laughs.

So next time you stop in to marvel at the amazing detail and craftmanship at the Hollywood Wax Museum, be sure to take a look down every once in a while to appreciate a different kind of art.

Brokate Janitorial Moves into New Office in Downtown Branson

Brokate Janitorial is very excited to begin giving the city of Branson a public face and place to help the community. Despite serving the Ozarks for over 13 years, Brokate Janitorial has remained relatively unknown outside its' customers. Until recently, Brokate Janitorial gained new business solely through word-of-mouth and basic phone book listings. According to Cheyne Brokate, Operations Manager at Brokate Janitorial, many things have and will continue to change.

"In the last 5 years, we have really noticed both a need in the community and opportunity for our company to provide the highest level of cleaning service while maintaining a reasonable price. We have become more proactive in our approach and hope to help an even greater number of clients than we do today whether it be for nightly office cleaning, theatre cleaning, floor work or carpet care ."

The new office and focus of Brokate Janitorial seems to be just the start for the company.

"Branson is such a wonderful town, with such an eclectic mixture of businesses and people. While entertainment is perhaps the main staple of Branson, you can really see new businesses everyday opening up to cater to those who live in and around the Tri-Lakes area. We hope to be able to help not only new businesses as they come into town, but help as many businesses as we can as they continue to grow and change. What I'm really excited about, however, is our new commitment to helping the city through local organizations and charities. The city has been so good to us, we are looking forward to putting more attention on giving back" said Margie Brokate, Owner of Brokate Janitorial.

"We're all very excited about this next year and seeing what kind of difference we can make. Call it a New Year's resolution if you want, but we are viewing this as a whole new direction and attitude for us," commented Jason Brokate, Account Manager.

With all the uncertainty and pessimism surrounding the headlines today, Brokate Janitorial still feels very confident about its business and the Branson area and looks forward to another 13 years of service and beyond.
